Poly...but could fool you!  It is very soft, and silky.  Matte finish...not shiny poly looking.   This is the satin I sell to very high end bridal stores...    Will be cut in one continuous piece if ordering more than 1 yard.   I always stock this, so if you need more, just say the word, and I will list it.  Also available in 2-3/4"  (and narrower widths)   If I run short from other sales..there is always more on the way!!
